Google & Bing Include Tweets in Search

This past week both Bing (Microsoft) and Google announced that they have partnered with Twitter to provide search results of the millions of tweets posted on Twitter. Bing has a beta where you can see trending topics as well as search keywords. Google in typical fashion posted a short announcement with few details.

It seems that it will be more important than ever to optimize your Twitter accounts in terms of keywords especially and even your tweets. Google gives higher weight to pages linked by high authority sites and I suspect they will implement this same strategy with Twitter so having your tweets re-tweeted will be important to tweet SEO.

CagoraBiz has already started implementing a Twitter SEO strategy in its Local Search Dominator Ultra package.
