I ran across a good article by Kevin Gibbons listing 21 On-Site SEO Tips that can serve as a checklist for checking your blog or website for proper search engine optimization. Although, a simple blog post can never do justice to the detailed subject of SEO, a checklist can serve a good reminder of subjects you have already studied in depth.
This checklist covers such topics as Title tags, Meta description tags, Headings, Internal linking, Keyword usage, Keyword density and Images. In terms of SEO, On-Site is just one of four areas that need attention. The other three include technical issues such as fixing broken links and proper indexing protocols, On-Page SEO such as the titles of the pages and posts and duplicate content, and External Linking or having your key pages linked to on other authority websites.
